What documents do I need to enter the U.S. by bus?

Documents required to enter the United States:

U.S. Citizens – Must present:

  • A valid U.S. Passport
  • Certificate of Naturalization.

Tourists (Visitors to the U.S.) – Will need:

  • A valid Mexican Passport
  • A Tourist Visa (B1/B2)
  • An I-94 permit (cost: $6 USD)
  • The address where you will be staying in the U.S.

Permanent Residents (Green Card) – Must have:

  • Your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
  • A valid Mexican Passport

All documents must be current to avoid delays at the border crossing.
